Ina York
Project Facilitator

“To be able to teach literacy in a village without a school, to connect groups from the States to help meet some of the basic needs of those in the village, to have the privilege of working with nationals to start a church, these are just a few of the rewards of following God to Cercadillo,” said Ina.

Ina is originally from northeast Missouri.  She graduated from Hannibal-LaGrange College and Southwest Baptist University before earning a Masters in Education from the University of Iowa.

Ina has over 20 years of experience in education, primarily as a special needs teacher.  She has taught in South Korea, Iowa, Missouri, Maine and Massachusetts, and is now teaching in Cercadillo.
