Last Saturday young people from Gordon College in Wenham, MA and IBI, a church in Santo Domingo, joined with 11 youth from Cercadillo for a day of painting and pizza. The target for the red paint was our fourth building that was completed last fall.
What a crew!
If you look closely you’ll see “chivos”, Dominican slang for spots that need attention. We’ll straighten it up later. But fun was had, relationships were built and in the end that’s probably what’s most important.
